MSN TV Service Set-Up Instructions

Welcome to Shentel Internet!

Once your Internet account has been activated, the following instructions will prove useful in setting up your MSN TV service. Shentel Internet is providing you with a local access number to get you connected.

Once you are on-line, MSN TV recommends that you access their tutorial, which will take you through the process step-by-step. All registration is done via the MSN TV Network System on-line. If you need support in getting your account set up or have any other questions, you will need to contact MSN TV at 800-469-3288.

Shentel does not offer technical support for MSN TV service.

The following is the information from Shentel that you will need to input into your MSN TV Network System. Please note that this information needs to be entered in lowercase, without spaces before or throughout.

Phone Number: Choose the number below that is local to your telephone service area. To determine the local number in your service area, consult your telephone directory. Shentel does not provide a backup local access phone number as we maintain an excellent modem to user ratio. Be sure you are using a local number, customers will be responsible for any applicable long distance changes should an incorrect number be used.

Note: MSN TV users are not able to check the number of hours they have used for any given month. This procedure requires an application called TELNET, which is not supplied with the MSN TV package. MSN TV users should track their usage manually.

You will soon receive your first monthly bill from Shentel for your local Internet service. MSN TV will bill you for their service.
