Miss Utility

Call Before You Dig

Before digging on any property, you should call Miss Utility.

The Miss Utility system is a computerized information service functioning in Shenandoah Telephone Company's service area to provide information to member utility companies. This information contains the location of any type of excavating, boring, pile driving, blasting, digging, etc., in the utilities' service area.

After Miss Utility is contacted by the customer or builder/contractor, the information on the work area is delivered by computer to the affected utilities. The only operation performed by the Miss Utility Center is the taking of information from the caller and referring it to Shenandoah Telephone Company and/or other utility companies.

Note: For location of underground telephone lines, call 48 hours before you dig.
